Volunteer at the Matt Garcia Youth Center
The Fairfield Police Department along with the PAL Volunteer Committee conducts volunteering screenings. Click here for our FAQ on our Volunteer Program. Follow these steps to become a volunteer:
On the second Wednesday of each month from 4pm - 7pm at the Fairfield Police Department:
---Pick up a volunteer application packet at the Police Department, 1000 Webster Street. (You may also download the volunteer application forms - see below.)
---Complete all 3 application forms and submit with a valid California ID to the Fairfield Police Department.
---Your fingerprints will be taken at the Police Department.
---There is no fee for this process.

After we receive fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice, you will attend an hour-long volunteer welcome orientation at the Matt Garcia Youth Center, at which time we will schedule a volunteer shift of your choosing.
** Please Note: We are unable to accept volunteers required by Court and/or Probation to complete community service hours.
