PROGRAMS:

BASKETBALL
3-on-3 and 2-on-2 Basketball Leagues take place once per week with Coach Brandon

BOXING
Every weekday we train with the best.  Coach Pete will get you competition-ready inside the ring or in shape with a cardio work-out.  New and beginner boxers train at 4 pm and advanced boxers train at 5 pm.  No experience necessary.  No special equipment is necessary for first time visit. 

CHARM SCHOOL / G's TO GENTS 

Sponsored by the Solano County Reducing Rates Coalition, these popular programs teach PAL members the critical skills necessary to make good decisions.  Each program meets weekly and introduces a new skills.  After reviewing and learning the skill or technique, students participate in an exciting challenge designed to test their understanding and ability to use it.


HIP HOP Dance Class

Sponsored by the Fairfield Police Officers Association, Bliss Dance Company offers a dance class every week at the PAL Center.


KAJUKENBO and GIRLS SELF DEFENSE
Coach Anthony's Kajukenbo class is held twice weekly.  The Girls Self Defense class will be held once per week.  Coach Anthony began teaching self defense to women and children in 1978.  In 1982, he won the Professional World Karate Association Full Contact Championship, which is a title he held until his retirement in 1989.

LAW & ORDER PAL
In the criminal justice system there are two separate, yet equal parts.  The police who do the investigating and the DA's who prosecute.  At the PAL Center, students play both these roles!  The Law & Order PAL program provides a unique way for PAL members to settle disputes at the center.  Students may "cite" a PAL member and take them to court.  In this system, students act as judges, lawyers, juries and work to resolve conflicts.  Law & Order members learn about the various professions within the criminal justice system through Shadow Days, fieldtrips and more.
 
PAL MUSIC STUDIO

Join Studio Pete a few nights per week inside the PAL music studio.  Learn to use the latest equipment and make professional tracks. 


PAL TV
Members produce PAL TV segments, which air on local Channel 27 at the following times: 8:30 am, 4:30 pm, and 9:30 pm.  Click here to see PAL TV spot.  PAL TV takes place once per week.

PEACE JAM

Looking to transform your world?  Join the PAL Peace Jam Club and meet others interested in improving Fairfield. 

TOASTMASTERS

TOASTMASTERS
Each week, students meet with members of the Solano County Toastmasters Chapter and practice public speaking and communication skills.  The Toastmaster's program culminates wtih a graduation that takes place at the City Council Chambers.  Strong leadership and communication skills are critical in so many professions.  Toastmasters International has grown to become a world leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience. The nonprofit organization now has more than 260,000 members in over 12,500 clubs in 113 countries, offering a proven and enjoyable way to practice and hone communication and leadership skills.
 

TUESDAY HIGH SCHOOL ONLY DAYS

The entire center is set aside for high school members.  In & Out Burger is served every Tuesday.


TYPING TUESDAYS
Join PAL this summer for Typing Tuesdays.  Fun and exciting typing programs like "Typing of the Dead" to teach you typing basics and correct hand placement.  Organized tournaments will track high scores and award winners with prizes.
